    Exam Pattern

     

    AISNMT 2019 will be conducted in online mode only. The exam includes questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from the syllabus of class XI and XII. Both Physics and Chemistry will have 45 questions each, then Biology will have 90 questions which is divided equally among Botany and Zoology.

    Exam Result

     

    AISNMT 2019 result will be released on April 30, 2019. As per the NTA(National Testing Agency) pattern, the minimum NEET cut off marks to qualify the examination will be 50% (for General category) & 40% (for Reserved category). The results will be available at the SchoolNEET portal in the form of the scorecard as per NTA standards. The scorecard for AISNMT 2019 contains candidate’s All India Rank (quota and category), overall & sectional marks and percentile.

     

    MARKING SCHEME

     

    ✔   +4 marks for each correct answer;

     

    ❌  0 mark for each unanswered question;

    ⛔  -1 mark for each wrong answer;

    FORMULA FOR AISNMT:

     

    Scores = (Number of correct answers X 4) - (Number of incorrect responses X 1)

    As per NTA, NEET Percentile Score is a minimum score which should be obtained to qualify in NEET 2019. Similarly, AISNMT is likely to calculate the percentile score to know your standings.

     

    • Percentile Score is calculated on the basis of the candidate’s relative position in comparison to other rank holders
    • AISNMT - All India Rank is calculated on the basis of the absolute score obtained by them in the exam.

     

    WHEN THERE IS A TIE?

     

    When two candidates obtain same marks in AISNMT 2019 then, as per the NTA advise we follow the below procedure to rank

     

    • Biology Marks – Candidates who score higher marks in Biology will be given preference compared to those who score fewer marks.
    • Chemistry Marks – If there is still a tie, then Candidates who score higher marks in Chemistry will be given preference compared to those who score fewer marks.
    • Less Incorrect Answers – In case, there is still a tie, the candidate with the highest number of correct answers will be given a higher preference compared to others.
    • Age Factor – If the tie persists, then as per the seniority for the age will be given preference compared to others with lesser age.

     

    HOW TO ATTEND AISNMT 2019

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES:

     

    • AISNMT examination will comprise of 180 Multiple Choice Questions for the duration of 180 minutes. Each Question will carry 4 marks.
    • AISNMT exam is conducted on Apr 28, 2019, between 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates are requested to login @ (1:55 PM) at least 5 minutes before the exam starts.
    • AISNMT exam link will be available in the dashboard. Click the link to start the exam by 2:00 PM, if you are at any other page at the time of the exam, you will be redirected to the AISNMT exam page.
    • Candidates who are starting the exam late will not be given any extra time to complete the exam. At 5 P.M. the exam link will close for all the candidates irrespective of the start time of the exam. So, we request all the registered candidates to attend the exam on time.
    • The candidate can switch to any question directly by clicking on the question number which will appear on the screen.
    • The answered question will be marked as green. Unanswered / skipped question numbers can stay in grey.
    • Every question will have four answer options. Choose the answer option that is most appropriate by clicking on the square adjacent to that option.
    • If the candidate willing to change the answer for any question any time after answering it, they shall select the question number and change the answer by clicking on the available option. Don't forget to uncheck the previously answered option.
    • Only questions that are answered or marked is going to be taken for evaluation.
