    National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG -2019

    NEET UG Exam Dates for 2019 was released on Jul 7, 2018 officially. NTA has extended the registration dates for NEET 2019 till Dec 7, 2018. Intermediate graduates with a minimum of 50% marks can apply online till the extended date. As per the latest notification from NTA, students older than 25 also can take NEET UG 2019.

    National Testing Agency (NTA) is a government agency was established by the (MHRD) Ministry of Human Resource Development, GOI (Government of India). From 2019, NTA is responsible for organizing various national level examinations such as JEE Main, NEET, UGC NET, etc. NTA is an independent autonomous testing agency for conducting examinations transparently with international standards for admission to higher education institutions.

    NEET UG 2019 - Eligibility Criteria


    The National Testing Agency(NTA), has released the eligibility criteria for NEET UG 2019. NEET aspirants need to satisfy these criteria to register for NEET UG 2019


    • 1. Qualifying Exam: NEET UG 2019 aspirants should have  Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as major in class 10+2 or equivalent examination. 
    • 2. Qualifying Marks: Unreserved category - 50%, Reserved category - 40%, PWD - 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
    • 3. Age Criteria: As on Dec 31, 2019, NEET aspirants should not be less than 17 years (or) NEET aspirants must be born on or before Jan 1, 2003. The max age limit of 25 years has been removed by NTA for NEET UG 2019.
    • 4. Nationality: Aspirants of Indian citizens, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs and foreign nationals are allowed to register for NEET UG 2019


    NEET UG 2019 - Syllabus


    Syllabus for NEET UG 2019 will contain the question from subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology(Botany and Zoology) and which is based for NCERT syllabus of Classes 11th and 12th. As per the notification of NTA, exam pattern for NEET UG 2019 will be same as it was in last (2018) year. As you are already aware there will a total of 180 questions which is equally divided among the subjects.
